The Bethlehem Foundation Bachelor Of Education Scholarships
Available to students enrolling in the Bachelor of Education degree (Early Childhood or Primary Teaching).
2010 Scholarships have now been filled.

Henare Rahiri Scholarships
BTI makes available two scholarships to Ngati Kahu students enrolling at Bethlehem Tertiary Institute in 2009. Each will receive up to $5000, payable towards the costs of the first year of study in a degree or diploma programme.
Criteria include: Leadership potential Active participation in the life of the Marae Potential for involvement in BTIs bi-cultural initiatives Capacity for a positive community influence Likelihood of completing the qualification Sense of call and vocation for the chosen profession
Applications are received and deliberated on by the people of Ngati Kahu.Candidates must also meet the admissions criteria for enrolment at BTI.

The Valerie Webster Zonta Scholarship ($2,000)
Established by the Tauranga Club, Zonta International in 2003. This $2,000 scholarship will be offered bi-annually to a NZ citizen/resident living in the Bay of Plenty who has commenced or returned to tertiary study as a mature student and is in her final year of qualification. The scholarship provides towards course fees and study materials. Applicants will be judged on personal effort and determination to achieve, value of the course to the applicant and the community, personal presentation and impression of motivation at an interview.
