James Arkwright
James' research interests relate to the areas of disability studies, narrative therapy, narrative and discourse research methodologies, counsellor education and the post-modern/Christian dynamic. Currently he is completing doctoral studies with University of Waikato, exploring the relevance of the post-structural concepts of positioning, subjectivity and agency to the lives of people living with impairment and illness.

Stephen Bright
Stephen's research interest relate to e-learning, particularly effective e-learning staff development, e-learning teacher workload, barriers to e-learning uptake by staff, and the role of social presence in e-learning. Currently he is completing a post-graduate certificate in e-education from the University of Waikato.

Alaster Gibson
Alaster's research interests focus firstly on the role of the primary principal in leadership in teaching and learning, and secondly, spirituality in principal leadership and its influence on teachers personally, and on their professional practice of teaching. He is currently conducting a qualitative, multiple site, case study of this second area of interest for his PhD through the University of Waikato.

Beverley Norsworthy
Beverley's research interests span the fields of teacher education, reflective practice, assessment as transFORMATIVE, research as a catalyst for change and Christian Education. Her doctorate Being and Becoming Reflexive in Teacher Education focuses on course work factors which contribute to the development of a reflective beginning teacher but has ramifications for higher education in general.
